About Me
I have been a Governor for over thirteen years with extensive experience in a variety of posts on the Governing Body. I have been the Chair and Vice Chair of a Primary School as well as Committee Chair. I am currently a Governor at a Secondary Academy and Vice Chair of the Finance Committee. Our Governing Body was rated as 'outstanding' at our last Ofsted inspection. I have an Advanced BTEC in School Governance.
I have been Clerking for Governing Bodies since 2000 having initially trained as a Local Authority Committee Secretary where I qualified as a Company Secretary.
I have worked for the Local Authority for a number of years supporting Governors, most recently as a School Governance Quality Assurance Manager.
